Samuel is a result-driven professional, with experience in healthcare, innovation and technology. He has developed distinct ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and navigate complex problems, in private industry, academia and non-profit sectors. His experience comes from the following roles:


•Consultant for Endeavour Volunteer Consulting

•Business Development Consultant for Toronto Enterprise Fund (partner of United Way)

•President of the Graduate Management Consulting Association (GMCA) at the University of Toronto

•Research Assistant for a liver cancer clinical trial at Sunnybrook Hospital

•Board Member of the University Affairs Board of the Governing Council at the University of Toronto

•Junior Design Engineer at Evertz Microsystem


Samuel Oduneye recently obtained a PhD in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto, where he was a CIHR doctoral Frederick Banting and Charles Best scholar. He developed a novel technique to guide catheters inside the heart, with assistive imaging, to diagnose and treat fatal cardiac arrhythmias.


Samuel is fluent in Italian and proficient in French and he is an avid urban photographer.
